Add Your Work Email to Your Phone
Pick the tab that matches your company’s email system. If you are not sure which one you use, check with us before you start.
The Microsoft Outlook app is the best way to get your work email on your phone. It keeps your work mail, calendar, and contacts in one place and works with your company security settings. Here is how to add your account.
Install the Outlook app
Section titled “Install the Outlook app”- iPhone: install Microsoft Outlook from the App Store.
- Android: install Microsoft Outlook from the Google Play Store.
Add your account (iPhone and Android)
Section titled “Add your account (iPhone and Android)”- Open the Outlook app.
- Tap Add Account.
- Enter your work email address and tap Continue.
- Enter your password when asked.
- Approve the MFA prompt if you have MFA set up.
- If asked to add another account, choose Maybe Later to finish.
Your email will start to load. Your calendar and contacts sync in the same app.
If your company requires it
Section titled “If your company requires it”Some companies require your phone to be registered for security before work email will load. If you are prompted to register your device or install a company profile, follow the steps. If you are not sure or it will not complete, stop and contact us.

Install the Gmail app
Section titled “Install the Gmail app”- iPhone: install Gmail from the App Store.
- Android: Gmail comes preinstalled on most phones. If it is missing, install it from the Google Play Store.
Add your account (iPhone and Android)
Section titled “Add your account (iPhone and Android)”- Open the Gmail app.
- Tap your profile picture in the top right corner.
- Tap Add another account.
- Tap Google.
- Enter your work email address and tap Next.
- Enter your password and tap Next.
- If prompted, approve the 2-Step Verification request. This may be a Google prompt on another device, or a code from an authenticator app.
- Follow any remaining prompts to finish.
Your email will start to load. Your calendar and contacts sync through the Google Calendar and Contacts apps once you are signed in.
You can also add the account at the phone level instead of inside Gmail:
- iPhone: Settings > Mail > Accounts > Add Account > Google.
- Android: Settings > Passwords & accounts (or Accounts) > Add account > Google.
Either way gets you the same result.
If your company requires it

If you are prompted to verify your identity, enroll your device, or install a company profile, follow the steps. If you are not sure or it will not complete, stop and contact us.
